Though at times annoying, i do recall with a comforting nostalgia the "Proverb of the day" that my mom would have us read, each morning, before school. reflection is priceless.
You, too?! My mom used to tell us, "So and so (some venerable figure, a chief justice or something) said that the secret to his wisdom was that he read a proverb every day. Wisdom is the most valuable possession." So we read one every morning out loud... when she remembered to make us.
